Ever experienced going to a coffee house, but have no clue on what to order and have no idea of the difference between a cappuccino from a latte or an Americano?  The list below shows you the most popular 9 types of coffee drinks.

1. Espresso

Espresso is a strong coffee brewed by forcing some boiling water under pressure through finely ground coffee beans. Espresso is thicker than coffee brewed by other methods. Having thick and golden-brown foam is criteria to measure a perfect Espresso. The sugar you add will float on its surface for several seconds and then sink to the bottom if the foam is good. Espresso is also the base for other coffee drinks, like Espresso Macchiato, Espresso Con Panna, Caffé Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Americano, and so on. 2. Espresso Macchiato

1 espresso + 0.5 foamed milk

3. Espresso Con Panna

1 espresso + 0.5 whipped cream

Espresso Con Panna, came from Italy, is an espresso drink topped with whipped cream.  In the United States and in England, it is also called café Vienne or café Viennois.

4. Caffé Latte

1 espresso + 1.5 or 4 steamed milk + 0.5 foamed milk

5. Flat White

1 espresso + 1.5 steamed milk

A flat white is prepared by pouring steamed milk over a shot of espresso. It is somewhat similar to latte and cappuccino. Flat white has a higher proportion of coffee, allowing the espresso to dominate the flavor, while milk supported.

6. Café Breve

1 espresso + 0.75 steamed milk + 0.75 steamed cream + 0.5 foamed milk

Café Breve is an American variation of a latte. Instead of making with steamed milk, the Café Breve is made up of a shot of espresso and steamed half-and-half mixture of milk and cream.

7. Cappuccino

1 espresso + 0.5 steamed milk + 1.5 foamed milk

Cappuccino, one of the mostly known in the world, is an Italian coffee beverage, which is prepared with espresso, steamed milk and milk foam.

8. Caffé Mocha

1 espresso + 0.5 chocolate syrup + 1 steamed milk + 0.5 whipped cream

Caffé Mocha is an espresso based coffee drinks with hot milk, chocolate and whipped cream. And it is usually topped with a dusting of either cinnamon or cocoa powder.

1 espresso + 2 hot water

It is easy to make a cup of Americano coffee, a single or double-shot of espresso brewed with added hot water.
