1. Causes Miscarriage

It is studied that women who consume 200 mg or more of caffeine per day are twice as likely to have a miscarriage as those who do not consume any caffeine.

2. Causes birth defects

Many studies on animals have shown that caffeine can cause birth defects and increase the risk of low-birth weight offspring and other reproductive problems. But there is no conclusive study done on humans.
