Have you ever made meals with a microwave? We usually use microwaves to heat food. But it’s so convenient to use it to make meals, especially, when you live in a dormitory or live solely. In this article, I will list several simple microwave recipes which you can have a try.

  1. Microwave Cheese Macaroni

Ingredients:

1/2 cup macaroni

1/2 cup water

a pinch salt

milk

1/4 cup cheese

a pinch of pepper

A little spring onion

Method:

Step 1 – Prepare a large cup. Put 1/2 cup macaroni in it. Pour 1/2 cup water into the cup. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and stir it. Put the cup into your microwave and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2 – Pour some milk into it. Then, top it with 1/4 cup cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of pepper. Mix them up. Use a microwave to heat for 20 seconds.

  1. Mug Omelet

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/2 bell pepper (fresh green pepper and red pepper)

2 slices ham

1/4 cup spinach

a pinch of pepper

a pinch of salt

Method:

Step 1 – Prepare a suitable cup. Beat 2 eggs in it.

Step 2 – Put in 1/2 bell pepper cut into cubes. Half green pepper and half red pepper. Add in 2 slices chopped ham and 1/4 cup chopped spinach. Sprinkle a pinch of pepper and a pinch of salt. Mix them up and cook it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.

  1. Microwave Baked Potato

Ingredients:

1 potato

Olive oil

A pinch of salt

2 slices bacon

Some grated cheese

Some yogurt.

Method:

Step 1 – Use a fork to poke many tiny holes on the potato. Grease the potato with olive oil. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on it and apply evenly.

Step 2 – Put the potato and 2 slices of bacon into your microwave. Cook for 7-9 minutes.

Step 3 – Take out the bacon slices. Cut open the potato in vertical. Use a fork to crush the potato but not break the potato skins. Spread some grated cheese on the crushed potato. Cook with microwave for 30 seconds.

Step 4 – Spread some yogurt on it.

Step 5 – Chop the bacon and some spring onion. And spread them on the top of the potato.
